A Statement of Who We Are

Our Mission:

We are called to fulfill the Great Commission to the unreached throughout the world, until Jesus returns. We believe that everyone should have an opportunity to hear the Gospel of Christ.

Our Commitment to Christian Ministry:

  • We will always be guided by the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word.
  • Wherever we work we will clearly state and reflect our Christian identity.
  • We will give priority to working with other Christian organizations but will not limit ourselves exclusively in that vein.
  • We expect that our employees' actions will reflect the responsibility and privilege of demonstrating God's love, compassion and mercy.
  • We will speak out when those we serve are in jeopardy and when injustice occurs.
  • We will insure that our approaches and methods in all areas are above reproach and consistent with our understanding of scriptural guidelines.
  • We will give employees opportunity to enhance their spiritual growth. We will spend time in intercessory prayer and praise with the assurance that the Holy Spirit will convict, comfort and guide us.

Our Commitment to Excellence:

  • We commit ourselves to excellence in all our programs and administrative activities. We seek to be an acknowledged leader in our field of service.
  • We recognize that excellence results from the love of God working itself out in our creativity, diligence, integrity and professionalism.
  • We are committed to the concept of total quality throughout our organization.
  • We will maintain standards, policies and procedures which will exceed normal practice. We will pursue our mission in a way that is cost effective, efficient and accountable.

Our Commitment to Compassionate Ministry:

  • We will concentrate our ministry activities to meet the intent of our statement of mission.
  • We will respect the dignity of each person and promote such respect in all our fields of service.
  • We will constantly explore, recommend and prepare for new ministry opportunities when and where they are appropriate as God leads and provides.
  • We will take a holistic approach to those we minister to. We will address not only the physical needs of those we serve but also the socio‑economic, psychological and spiritual needs, helping people to "normalize" their lives within their communities.
  • We will relate to our partners and those we serve in a courteous, friendly, personal and professional manner and advocate for their needs.
  • We will cooperate with organizations that are consistent with our mission and that promote the goals of our organization.

Our Commitment to Our Employees:

  • We believe our organization is as good as its employees. We will foster an environment where employees can pursue excellence in their work.
  • We will encourage employees to develop their talents. We will recognize and honor achievement and give staff opportunity to advance their skills and receive equitable compensation related to job performance.
  • We are committed to hiring employees who are committed to the mission and purpose of our organization.
  • We recognize the enriching contribution and essential need for a multiracial and multi-cultural composition of our staff.
  • We will encourage our employees to maintain emotional, educational, physical and spiritual well being.

Our Commitment to Our Constituency:

  • We recognize that our constituents are partners in our activity and we will maintain high standards of financial integrity as good stewards of the gifts entrusted to us.
  • We will be responsive to our constituents and keep them informed and educated on important matters pertaining to our organization.
  • We will strive to minister to our constituents and make an impact on their lives.
  • We will challenge and involve our constituency in prayer, financial support and volunteer support for our organization.
