Since 2003, members of KHI have been traveling to India to share the gospel of Christ. During these evangelistic trips we traveled with indigenous pastors and took the Jesus film to unreached villages. Through this effort, we saw thousands believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation.

It is indeed exhilarating to see fellow brothers' and sisters' eternal destiny altered through God's miraculous grace. While we praised God for their salvation, we understood the need to assist their growth in faith. Through prayer, counsel, and research, God directed KHI to His strategy of church planting movements.

We know there are billions of people that have yet to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. Because of the great need and our belief to follow the great commission, we are ready to go wherever God directs us. We understand that each culture is unique and therefore we will always work through indigenous people to deliver the Word of God.

For 2012, our goal is to raise support for nine additional CPMI teams thereby providing the opportunity to reach one million people. Our three year goal is to support 100 CPMI areas. We pray that God will direct us to many countries and people until Jesus returns.

KHI is currently serving in the country of India. With over one billion people, India is the second largest populated country in the world. Yet only 8 percent of the population are Christians and that 8 percent make up the second largest religious minority in India.

As you can see the number of Christians in India is small. We truly believe that God desires for His name to be proclaimed throughout India and the world. With over 90 percent of the population in India either Hindu or Muslim, it is clear that this is a place where the gospel needs to be heard. We know that the harvest is ready therefore we are dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission in India.

KHI currently has five Church Planting Movement Initiator teams in India. These teams are training lay pastors, planting home churches and literally seeing hundreds come to Christ. At this time we have the potential to reach a half million individuals with the gospel.

Our partnership with India Campus Crusade for Christ (ICCC) allows us to fulfill our mission to reach India. Together ICCC and KHI provide the following:

1. Materials, curriculum and staff to fulfill the training needs
2. Mentors to train the CPMI teams
3. Staff to create materials in heart languages
4. On the ground accountability for KHI activities
